Dragon Ball Super: Broly The Movie Collector’s Edition and Sainsbury’s Exclusive Edition Confirmed

Manga Entertainment UK are going ‘beyond Super’ with the UK home video release of Dragon Ball Super: Broly The Movie, as the UK anime distributor-come-publisher have announced details for a Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray release of the movie as well as a retailer-centric edition that is exclusive to Sainsbury’s.

Zavvi to Offer Exclusive A5 Art Print with Outlaw Star Blu-ray Pre-Orders!

Zavvi have today revealed through their social-media channels that those who pre-order Anime Limited’s Collector’s Edition Blu-ray release of Outlaw Star will receive an exclusive A5 Art Print along with their set when its released later this year.

Anime Limited to Release Steelbook Variations of Titles that will be Exclusive to Zavvi

It seems Zavvi will be continuing its ‘Steelbook Exclusivity’ trend as the online retailer has partnered up with UK Distributor Anime Limited to release a selection of Steelbook products based upon their popular licenses; starting with Satoshi Kon’s Perfect Blue.

As previously spotted on Zavvi earlier today, and then confirmed by Anime Limited shortly after, this steelbook edition of the film will contain standard blu-ray discs, which features the film in both English and Japanese audio as well as a selection of bonus content, alongside four exclusive artcards that were previously only available with the Collectors/Limited Edition variation of the film. Both the disc and artcards will be bundled inside a special steelbook which has been designed exclusively for this release, as shown in the packshot below.

HMV To Offer Exclusive Attack on Titan Blu-ray Steelbooks for Live-Action Movie

UK Exclusive Steelbook Edition of Ghost in The Shell Unveiled for September Release Window

During the bank-holiday weekend Manga Entertainment UK took to Twitter to reveal that the previously announced “Steelbook Edition” of the highly successful cyber-punk thriller Ghost In The Shell would be released on the 29th September 2014 with pre-orders now active on Zavvi.

Currently priced at £22.99 on Zavvi, this ‘Steelbook’ Edition of Ghost in the Shell is a UK Exclusive release and features the original film re-mastered in high definition, a 24-page booklet all housed within a stylish steelbook case.

HMV Exclusive Blood C: The Last Dark Unboxed by MangaUK

File this under slightly late but Manga UK Community Liaison Jeremy Graves has published another Unboxing video on the official Manga UK Youtube Channel, this time the upcoming HMV Exclusive version of Blood C: The Last Dark.

For those unaware there is two different Blu-ray versions of Blood C: The Last Dark, there is the regular Blu-ray version, which is available at all retailers, and then there is the HMV Exclusive bundle which not only includes a DVD version of the film but it also includes a slip-case, a selection of art cards and a poster.

If you are a Blood/Blood C fan then obviously the HMV Exclusive version is the way to go, but be quick as it won’t be around forever. Our review of the film will be up later this week, but in the meantime why not check out the unboxing video for yourselves.

HMV To Receive Exclusive Blood-C: The Last Dark Bundle

Fans of Blood-C may want to pre-order the upcoming “Last Dark” movie from your nearest HMV Store, as Manga Entertainment UK have today taken to twitter to announce that HMV will be getting an exclusive version of the movie.

As illustrated in the tweet this HMV Exclusive bundle will contain a carded-sleeve cover, a poster, a selection of art cards and more importantly it will contain both the DVD & Blu-ray versions of the film, as opposed to the regular version which will only contain the Blu-ray.

It’s a nice little bundle, but it will only be available from HMV Stores. In the meantime Blood-C: The Last Dark is now available to pre-order and it will be available on the 24th March 2014.

UK Release of Steins Gate to Include Exlcusive Artwork

Manga Entertainment UK has recently confirmed the artwork that will be used for the upcoming UK DVD & Blu-ray of Release of Steins Gate – Part 1, with it announcing that it will be a UK exclusive cover.

The Cover, which is exclusive to the UK, can be seen below:

Originally it was thought that the US Cover, which was previously used as a template, would be used for the UK Release, but it seems that Manga UK wanted the UK edition to be extra special, either way this is the official artwork, So what do you think?

Steins Gate Part 1 will be available on DVD & Blu-ray from the 15th July 2013.

Exclusive Drifters of the Dead OVA DVD to be Available at London MCM Comic Con Expo

Manga Entertainment UK, via Fetch Publicity, have today revealed that during the MCM Comic Con in London the Manga UK store will be selling the ‘Drifters of the Dead’ OVA Episode as a special exclusive standalone DVD.

A price for this “Comic Con” exclusive will be revealed closer to the time, however it will be DVD only and it will only feature Japanese language with English subtitles, furthermore it will be the same disc that is included with the Blu-ray and DVD versions of that is released on the 27th May 2013. A box-art image for this “Comic Con” exclusive has also been released and can be seen further below.

The London MCM Comic Con takes place on between the 24th-26th May 2013 at the Excel Centre in London and tickets are currently on-sale at the official London MCM Comic Con website.
