Last year Anime Limited surprised fans by releasing an ‘Ultimate Edition’ of the Escaflowne anime franchise with it containing both the Complete TV Series and feature-length-film remastered in High Definition with a soundtrack CD Collection and artbook. From an ‘Ultimate Edition’ perspective it certainly featured everything an Escaflowne fan could ever want but alas it also came with a £150 RRP Price-Tag. Anime Limited Announces Replacement Scheme for Escaflowne Ultimate Edition Blu-ray

Anime Limited’s Ultimate Edition Blu-ray release of Escaflowne hasn’t even been officially released yet (it’s due for release on the 14th November 2016) and the UK Anime Distributor have already announced a replacement scheme for an issue discovered on the second Blu-ray disc of the set; specifically Episode 9 of the anime TV Series. Anime Limited Panel Round-Up from MCM Manchester Comic Con July 2016

Anime Limited were out in force at this years MCM Manchester Comic Con and it is up to the el presidente of Anime Limited, Andrew Partridge, to deliver the exciting news of what the company has in store for fans in the coming months. Truthfully the announcements were pretty thin, with only two new titles being announced; but what the panel did provide was information, claraity and an insight into the world of Anime Licensing and distribution; all of which you shall see in our video of the panel.

So what exactly was discussed? Well Andrew went on to explain what you can expect from the upcoming Ultimate Edition Blu-ray release of Fullmetal Alchemist as well as reveal the contents of the much rumoured Escaflowne: Ultimate Edition. In addition to these ‘hot products’ Andrew announcement that Anime Limited would be releasing Ouran Highschool Host Club and a collection of shorts by Production I.G. onto Blu-ray at some point in the near future.
