Dragon Ball Z Kai was previously shown on a daily basis when it started airing last year until all of its alotted episodes, which ran until the end of the Frezia Saga, were shown. Kix TV to Air Dragon Ball Z Kai Daily Next Year, Timeslots Revealed

It has not been ‘actively’ confirmed from CSC Media, but from the 6th January 2013 Dragon Ball Z Kai will be shown daily on the Kid’s TV Channel, Kix TV, which is available to view (for FREE) on Sky & Freesat.

Earlier in the month we revealed that Dragon Ball Z Kai will be shown as a special ‘Preview Event’ from boxing day for three days straight, well since then Kix TV released a new TV Advert showcasing that Dragon Ball Z Kai, along with Digimon: Data Squad and Power Rangers, would be shown as the early morning line-up, however a timeslot for each shown wasn’t revealed.

After some digging on the Kix TV Website, under the What’s On Section, it turns out that 4 episodes of Dragon Ball Z Kai will be shown per day.

Starting at 8am, as part of the early morning line-up, an episode of Dragon Ball Z Kai will be shown, then another episode will be shown at 6pm. At 9pm both episodes will be repeated in an hour long timelot, thus offering viewers a ‘catch-up’ in preperation for the next day’s episodes.

Looking through the site suggests that, for now, this is the line-up that Dragon Ball Z Kai will follow until someone at Kix TV decides to change it, either way – having it this way means that a lot of people will be able to watch the show at different times during the day.

Kix TV to Air FUNimation Dub of Dragon Ball Z Kai on Boxing Day

It has been revealed that Kix TV, owned by CSC Media, are to begin airing the FUNimation English Dub of Toei Animation’s Dragon Ball Z Kai on the 26th December 2012.

The new’s comes from the UK Dragon Ball Net website, whereby a forum user found the upcoming daily TV Schedules on the Kix Website. Since then another forum user uploaded an advert promoting Dragon Ball Z Kai’s airdate.

According to the TV Advert (shown above), which was advertised on Kix TV’s own TV channel, Dragon Ball Z Kai will air as a ‘special preview event’ for three days straight, with two episodes a day being shown. The current timeslot is 6pm and 6:30pm, so thats an hour worth of Dragon Ball Z Kai for three days, after which Dragon Ball Z Kai will be replaced with its normal show and a new timeslot will be given for Dragon Ball Z Kai later next year.

More importantly, the TV Advert showcases the FUNimation English Dub of Dragon Ball Z Kai and not the rumoured Ocean Dub – that aside its nice to see Anime (other than Pokemon, Beyblade & Yu-Gi-Oh!) being shown on UK TV, even if its edited down slightly.

Dragon Ball Z Kai will air on Kix TV (Sky Channel 627) from the 26th December 2012 at 6pm.
