Sky Movies to Show both Dragon Ball Z Movies Next Month


The subscription based satelite TV service Sky have recently revealed that they will be showing both Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods and it’s follow-on film Dragon Ball Z: Resurreciton F on it’s Sky Movies, otherwise known as Sky Cinema, channels next month.

Confirmation of these films being broadcast on Sky TV was revealed through the ‘Coming Soon’ section of the Sky Movies website and as listed the first film, otherwise known as Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, will be broadcast from Saturday 13th August 2016 where as the second film, Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F, will be broadcast a week later on Saturday 20th August 2016. It is expected that both films will be presented in English 5.1 Surround Sound and, as Sky Movies features a parental lock, the films will be broadcast in their original uncut form.

Unboxing: Dragon Ball Z – Battle of Gods (Blu-ray / DVD Combo Pack) [USA]


It’s only been a week since FUNimation released the ‘Extended Edition’ of Dragon Ball Z – Battle of Gods (Blu-ray / DVD Combo Pack) into America, but here we are today with it in our hands – so what can we expect from it? Well let’s take a look in our unboxing video.

The US FUNimation release of Dragon Ball Z – Battle of Gods, which is a Blu-ray and DVD Combo Pack, features the theatrical and Extended versions of the film in both Standard Definition (DVD) and High Definition (Blu-ray). Interestingly to receive the ‘best’ picture quality for the film the Standard Definition version has been split across two discs (one for theatrical and one for extended) while the Blu-ray features both films and the bonus content on a single disc. Manga UK Industry Panel Announcement Round-Up from Manchester MCM Comic Con 2014


The venue for the Manchester MCM Comic Con, formly known as MCM Expo, may be rather small compared to the one in London; but that doesn’t stop Manga Entertainment UK from coming out in force; as not only did they have a ‘respectable’ sized shop with some ‘superb’ deals but they also hosted their own industry panel with a slew of new announcements.

Most of the news shared on the industry panel were ‘re-confirmations’ of things that had been mentioned previously before; such as the release of Ghost in The Shell, Ghost in the Shell: Arise and Attack on Titan; but new announcements were made in the form of Netflix streaming exclusive Harlock and the anime adaptation of Platinum Games Bayonetta franchise; Bayonetta: Bloody Fate. Of course these were not the only announcements; as you shall find out below:
