Influenced by the Robot Ethics Committee, it’s become common sense for people to treat androids like household appliances. Their appearance – indistinguishable from humans except for the ring over each android’s head – has led some people to empathize unnecessarily with androids. Known as “android-holics”, such people have become a social problem.

Rikuo, a high school student, has been taught from childhood that androids are not to be viewed as humans, and has always used them as convenient tools. One day Rikuo discovers some strange data in the behavior records of his family’s household android, Sammy. Unboxing: Time of Eve – The Movie (Deluxe Edition Blu-ray) [UK]


It’s been over a year since Pied Piper’s / Directions / Studio Rikka’s Kickstarter campaign of turning the Time of Eve ONA (Original-Net-Animation) Series into a feature-length-film and releasing it as a Deluxe Editon Blu-ray; but here it is and today we are going to open it up and see exactly what it offers.

Available to purchase from the official Time of Eve Shop, Anime Limited’s online store and Amazon UK, this Deluxe Edition of the project contains a copy of the film, which is presented in High Definition on a Blu-ray disc, a 33-Track Soundtrack CD and 56-page booklet all housed inside a special carded sleeve digipack packaging design. Unboxing: Time of Eve – The Movie (Standard Blu-ray) [UK]


After Pied Piper’s successful Kickstarter campaign in turning the ONA (Original-Net-Animation) Series Time of Eve into a movie and releasing it as a ‘Deluxe Edition’ Blu-ray set, which we will be unboxing next week, the company have now turned their attention to creating a more affordable standard edition version of the film; and today that’s what we are going to take a look. Time Of Eve Movie Now Available To Purchase from Dedicated Online Store


If you missed out on last years Time Of Eve Movie Kickstarter campaign, a campaign which saw the Time of Eve OVA Series edited together, dubbed and then released as a movie on Blu-ray, then fear not as the film is now available to purchase from the dedicated Time of Eve online store.

The film, which is available in both Standard Blu-ray ($34.95) and Deluxe Edition Blu-ray ($59.95), is the same as those received by supporters of the campaign; although those that ‘did’ supprt the project received additional perks, such as digital content. Read more of this post
