Clarifications Given for Delay of Death Note and Digimon Tri

Earlier in the week Manga Entertainment UK confirmed through social media that both Death Note and Digimon Tri would have to be delayed due to unexpected issues discovered; with the former pushed back until the 19th December 2016 and the latter moved into March next year.

Specific details as to why these two releases were not given however over the past few days the Chief Operating Officer of Animatsu Entertainment, and head-honcho at Manga Entertainment UK, Jerome Mazandarani spoke out on twitter to reveal the all important details. Read more of this post

Animatsu and MangaUK Industry Panel Announcements from MCM London Comic Con May 2016

It seems Animatsu and Manga Entertainment UK were ‘slumming it’ in the Bronze Theatre at the MCM London Comic Con this month as not only was a table not provided for them but the audio equipment didn’t seem to work either; which resulted in not many ‘cheers’ from the crowd despite some interesting announcements being made; including the confirmation that Digimon will be making it’s return to the UK on DVD.

Ignoring the sound quality issues Fraser, Andrew and Jerome provided a solid presentation with a line-up of new announcements accompanied with trailers (all of which you shall see in our video of the panel). Unfortunately however not all licenses were announced and nor were all of the details revealed; so expect more information and announcements from MangaUK and Animatsu Entertainment in the coming weeks! Selection of Newer Manga UK Titles Arrive on Netflix UK

If you are currently a Netflix UK subscriber and are a fan of anime then prepare for some exciting news; as starting from today a selection of newer Manga Entertainment UK titles will be available stream on Netflix UK as part of your subscription; that is according to a Netflix UK facebook page.

  • Attack on Titan (Season 1)
  • Black Butler (Season 2)
  • Blue Exorcist
  • Death Note
  • Ghost in the Shell (Movie)
  • High School of the Dead
  • Psycho Pass (Season 1)
  • Vampire Knight (Season 1 + 2).
  • Yu-Gi-Oh! (Season 2)

These new additions join the already ‘impressive’ back-catalogue of anime titles on service, titles such as Highschool DxD, Yu-Gi-Oh! (Season 1) and Kill-La-Kill. It’s currently unknown if more titles will appear on the service, or for how long they will be available, but if you are a subscriber then it’s definately worth checking out while you’ve got the chance.
