Gundam Reconguista in G To Be Released as a Complete Series Blu-ray

When Anime Limited first announced the release of Gundam Reconguista in G, otherwise known as Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam Reconguista in G, many retailers incorrectly listed the product as a Complete Series collection and since then it has never been amended (despite the distributor claiming that it would be released in two parts). Well as part of yesterday’s newswire the distributor revealed that it will now be able to release Gundam Reconguista in G as a Complete Series Blu-ray set and better yet it will receive that ‘special’ treatment like previous Mobile Suit Gundam releases. Anime Limited Confirms Remaining Kill La Kill Release Plans

Over the course of the weekend Andrew Partridge, the el presidente of UK Anime distributor Anime Limited, took to the Anime UK forums to unveil the remaining release plans for Kill La Kill on Blu-ray and DVD.

Basically Anime Limited are hoping to have the remaining two parts of Kill La Kill, both of which will come in Collectors Edition form with an 200-page (or so) artwork, by the end of May 2015. Read more of this post

Unboxing: Sword Art Online – Part 1 (Limited Edition Collectors Box Blu-ray) [AUS]

You maybe wondering why I am doing another ‘unboxing’ of Sword Art Online – Part 1 and the answer is simple, this is the Limited Edition Collectors Box version which is currently only available within Australia. What differences does it offer? Well lets take a look.

As it stands Sword Art Online – Part 1 is currently available as two different versions in Australia, a standard and Collectors Box version, with the Collectors Box including an art box that allows all four volumes to fit into, thus making it look like a complete series set as opposed to four individual cases. Whichever version you choose the disc content remains the same as the UK release, with the only difference being the art work and that the UK version includes a DVD in addition to the Blu-ray.
