As the fight against the Wulgaru continues, it’s harder to determine what the real objectives of Team Rabbits are, and the arrival of a new addition to team’s lineup only further confuses things. The unwritten rules of mecha combat teams seem to require that there’s always at least one mysterious loner in the group, but the enigmas and conundrums surrounding Ange Kuroki are so extreme that even the new pilot’s gender is a riddle!

As the pieces of the puzzle come together and the layers of the riddle slowly peel back, it becomes apparent that everything Izuru, Asagi, Kei, Tamaki and Suruga have encountered are interconnected to a greater extent than they ever imagined. Deadly reversals and shocking revelations await!

Unboxing: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood – Collection 1 and Collection 2 (Blu-ray) [UK]

Usually i’d only do one unboxing video per Blu-ray release, however seeing as i recently picked up both instalments of the Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Collection i’ve decided to unboxing them together, that way you can see ‘exactly’ what you’ll get and how they interact with each other.

The tale of Manga Entertainment UK releasing the Collection Sets for Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is a long and amusing one, as originally the series was released as five 13 episode instalments, afterwhich the UK Distributor opted to release a ‘complete’ collection (like they did on DVD), but Aniplex were against it – and so two half season sets, much like the ones released in America several years ago, was released. Price: $49.78 / £30.86 (Excluding postage)

Episodes: 13 – 24 (2 Disc Set)

Plot: The care and feeding of a pet girl is something only those with the most dogged determination should attempt, but Sorata Kanda never really had a choice in the matter. Tasked with keeping the acclaimed but highly dysfunctional and unfocused artist Mashiro Shiina from forgetting to eat, brush her hair, or wear clothes, it’s been a long, slow battle to get to the point where he’s reached a general understanding of her extreme quirks. Which doesn’t mean that Mashiro doesn’t still walk out of the dorm half-naked. It’s just that Sorata now understands that it’s going to happen.

Unfortunately, the whys, wherefores, and how-tos of comprehending the opposite sex aren’t going so well on other fronts. Misaki’s attempts to escalate her campaign to win Jin’s affections take a disastrous turn, and Nanami’s going to have to learn to come to terms with her feelings for Sorata while adjusting to the third wheel that is Mashiro. And then there’s still Sorata’s “problem” of picking up cats that he’s not supposed to keep.
