Cardcaptor Sakura Standard Edition Blu-Ray Releases Delayed

We suspected it as much last week, but we can now confirm that the first half of the Standard Edition Blu-Ray release of Cardcaptor Sakura, known as Cardcaptor Sakura – Part 1: The Clow Cards, has been delayed until early April 2023 with the second half, known as Cardcaptor Sakura – Part 2: The Sakura Cards, being moved to 24th April 2023.

Cardcaptor Sakura and Gundam SEED to receive Standard Edition Blu-Ray Releases in the UK in 2023

All The Anime have confirmed, as part of the 12 Days of Christmas promotional event, that standard edition variations of Cardcaptor Sakura and Gundam SEED will be released in 2023.

The week sees a variety of complete series re-releases from Crunchyroll UK (previously known as FUNimation UK) with highlights including Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card and Fairy Gone. The wait for the UK Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray release of Cardcaptor Sakura will soon be over, as Anime Limited (otherwise known as All The Anime) have confirmed that the set will be released this month (July 2022), as the set has been quality checked and manufactured; but there is a catch.

Earlier in the month we reported that Anime Limited had most likely delayed the release of Cardcaptor Sakura – Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray as a result of an updated release date being listed on the product page, and today the distributor have now confirmed the delay along with a brand new statement.

The wait to watch Sakura and Kero’s adventure of collecting the Clow Cards in High Definition will have to wait even longer, as it seems Anime Limited have once again, and for the third time, delayed the Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray release until 4th July 2022 within the UK.

Those hoping to experience Sakura and Kero’s adventure of collecting the Clow Cards in High Definition will have to wait a little bit longer, as Anime Limited have today confirmed that their upcoming Blu-Ray release has been delayed again until 23rd May 2022.
