Cowboy Bebop – Box 2 Receives Slight Delay Due to Technical Glitch

Anime Limited has today took to Facebook to confirm that the upcoming Blu-ray release of Cowboy Bebop – Box 2, along with the Complete Series DVD Set), has received a slight delay due to a technical glitch that has been spotted.

According to Anime Limited the delay is so that a “another video capture glitch” could be fixed, what exactly this means i’m not entirely sure, but because of this the release has been given a new ‘temporary’ release date on online retailers with a new ‘confirmed’ release date expected to be announced later in the month.

A few folks have messaged us as the date for Cowboy Bebop BD Part 2 and DVD Complete Collection had changed on Amazon – this is a temporary date set because we had to shift the release date a few weeks due to finding another video capture glitch we wanted to fix.

We’ll actually have the final masters no later than next week so expect a release actually in October – so a couple of weeks delay max to bring you the best quality product. Not December!

It seems Anime Limited truly cares about their products, and who can blame them especially after the recent issues with Kaze produced releases. Either way Anime Limited hopes to have Cowboy Bebop – Box 2 (Blu-ray) as well as the Complete Series Set (DVD) out during October 2013, with more updates expected to follow in the coming weeks.

Penguin Drum – Box 2 Delayed Again by Kaze, Will Now Release on October 21st

Manga Entertainment UK, the UK distributor for Kaze DVD and Blu-ray releases, has today took to Twitter and Facebook to announce that the upcoming DVD Release of Penguin Drum – Box 2 has been delayed again by Kaze, and that it will now be released on the 21st October.

Hey guys, we’ve just found out that the forthcoming release of Penguindrum Part 2 (that we’re distributing in the UK for Kazé) has had its release date pushed back to 21st October due to a production issue.

We apologise for this but it is completely out of our control.
(In case you’re unaware, Manga Entertainment UK distribute a variety of titles for Kazé in the UK, this title being one of them. )

Online retailer listings will be updated shortly to reflect this date change. ^JG

According to the statement released by Manga the delay is due to an actual production issue, rather than a shipment issue like previous delays, either way its another delay under Kaze’s ‘delay streak’ and it also makes it the second time that this release has been delayed, as I believe it was originally due for release in August.

Penguin Drum – Box 2 will be released on the 21st October 2013 within the UK, and it will be available only on DVD.

Kaze Delay’s UK Release of Bleach Series 11 and Pengiundrum Box 2

penguindrum_screenshot

It seem’s like a bad week for Manga Entertainment UK as not only has Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works suffered a month long delay (as mentioned earlier in the week) but now Kaze’s UK release of Bleach Series 11 and Penguindrum Box 2, both of which are distributed into the UK via Manga Entertainment UK, are now also suffering delays.

Both Bleach – Series 11 and Penguindrum Box 2 were originally intended to be launched next month, however due to an undisclosed reason both releases have now been delayed until September (Bleach) and October (Penguin Drum).

Hi everyone. Today we have been informed by Kaze of two release date amendments.
Bleach Complete Series 11 will now be released on 2nd September and Penguindrum Part 2 will now be released on 7th October.

For those unaware, Manga Entertainment UK distributes a wide variety of titles from Kaze in the UK.

Both of these titles are available to pre-order now.
Pre-order Bleach Complete Series 11 at http://ow.ly/mTOpM
Pre-order Penguindrum Part 2 at http://ow.ly/mTOx2

The following date amendments will be updated on online retailer listings shortly. ^JG

So to re-cap that’s three Manga distributed titles delayed within less than a week, but you have to keep in mind that, unlike Fate/Stay Night, Manga UK have no involvement with the production of Bleach or Penguin Drum as these are both produced by Kaze and then are distributed to suppliers via Manga UK.

Either way Bleach Series 11 will now be released on the 2nd September 2013 while Penguindrum Box 2 will be released on the 7th October 2013, both of which will only be available on DVD.
