With Manga Entertainment UK opting to release the fifth Naruto Shippuden film onto DVD only we’ve decided to take a look and see what it offers; so what did we think of the film and more importantly what do we think of the DVD? Find out in our Review.

Synopsis:

Naruto is convicted of a serious crime he didn’t commit and is sent to the inescapable prison, Hozuki Castle. The warden, Mui, quickly seals away Naruto’s chakra to prevent him from rebelling. Manga UK Cancels Individual Blu-ray Release of Naruto Shippuden – Movie 5: Blood Prison

If you were eagerly awaiting the next ‘high definition’ instalment of the Naruto Shippuden films then unfortunately you are in for some bad news; as today Manga Entertainment UK have announced that Naruto Shippuden – Movie 5: Blood Prison will not be available as a stand-a-lone Blu-ray release in December.

The only way for Naruto fans to experience Naruto Shippuden – Movie 5: Blood Prison in High Definition is by purchasing the ‘Pentalogy’ collection, a box set which contains all five Naruto Shippuden films inside a single set. Read more of this post
