FUNimation UK Announces Akudama Drive, Death Parade, Nichijou – My Ordinary Life, and More for UK Blu-Ray Release This December

FUNimation UK have today announced that they will release a selection of newly licensed titles including Akudama Drive, Death Parade, and Nichijou – My Ordinary Life in December, with some even being treated to Limited Edition releases, alongside complete series re-releases of older titles.

In some rather interesting, and extremely surprising news, it appears that FUNimation titles distributed by Anime Limited, otherwise known as All The Anime, have been either listed as sold out or removed from online retailers; that is according to a report on Anime UK News and as pointed out by community members on the website.

Back in 2016 the UK based anime distributor Anime Limited, otherwise known as All The Anime, released the first season of Assassination Classroom onto Blu-ray and DVD within the UK, with the series itself being split into two half-season-sets as most twenty-six (or so) episodes do. A newly published newswire on the Anime Limited blog reveals that a ‘wide-selection’ of upcoming Anime Limited and FUNimation UK titles have been delayed by up to several weeks; with most being pushed back by one week.

FUNimation UK Q1 2017 Release Schedule Revealed

FUNimation UK continues to ‘steadily’ move along in it’s attempt at releasing anime titles within the UK and while the past few weeks have seen numerous titles released from the American-based-distributor, such as HighSchool DxD BoRN and Gonna Be The Twin-Tail, we have yet to receive a steady stream of releases… that is until online retailer Anime-On-Line revealed a list of future titles coming from the distributor.
