Manga UK License Occultic Nine & Dragon Ball Z TV Specials; Q2 2018 Schedule Announced

Following on from the license acquistion announcement for the Netflix Original Film BLAME! the UK Anime Distributor Manga Entertainment UK have now announced that they have also acquired the Blu-Ray and DVD distribution rights to Occultic Nine and the Dragon Ball Z TV Specials Collection which consists of ‘Dragon Ball Z: History of Trunks’ and ‘Dragon Ball Z: Bardock the Father of Goku’. Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie to be released on Blu-ray & DVD in May

In a surprising, but unsurprising announcement, UK Distributor Manga Entertainment UK have revealed that they will be releasing the new Ghost in the Shell movie, which follows on from the events of the Ghost in the Shell: Arise OVA episodes, on Blu-ray and DVD within the UK later this year.

Currently scheduled for release on the 9th May 2016 the film will be available on both DVD and Blu-ray formats in English and Japanese; with the English dub once again being provided by FUNimation Entertainment. Haikyu!! & World Conquest Zvezda Plot Delayed Until February

Those looking forward to taking part in some Volleyball, or watching aliens take-over the world, will unfortunately have to wait until February as not only has Animatsu’s release of Haikyu!! – Collection 1 been pushed into February but so has KAZE’s release of World Conquest Zvezda Plot: The Complete Collection.

The good news however is that both titles will receive Blu-ray and DVD release; the bad news however is that we will have to wait until the 1st February 2016 for World Conquest Zvezda and the 29th February 2016 for Haikyu!!. Read more of this post

Manga UK & Animatsu Entertainment Q1 2016 Release Schedule Revealed

Rumour: Mirai Nikki: Future Diary – Part 2 Moved into Next Year

With the release of Mirai Nikki: Future Diary – Part 1 delayed until the 28th December 2015 its only logical that its distributor, KAZE via MangaUK, would push back the release of Part 2 and while official confirmation has yet to be received some retailers have opted to change their listings; with Anime-On-Line leading the way. Mirai Nikki: Future Diary – Part 1 Delayed Until December

In relatively unsurprising news Manga Entertainment UK have today confirmed that the UK Release of Mirai Nikki: Future Diary – Part 1 has been delayed until the 28th December 2015.

An explanation as to why the title has been delayed was not mentioned, but considering it is a KAZE Release then it could be as simple as stock not arriving on time for the release date; which for this particular title was the 16th November 2015. Read more of this post
