Blood-C – The Complete Series Standard Edition Blu-Ray Moved to 10th April 2023

The upcoming Blu-ray release of Blood-C (TV Series) seems to have been pushed back again, as online retailers (anime-on-line and Amazon UK), are now listing the release date as 10th April 2023.

Originally this set was due for release on 20th March 2023, but was then moved to 3rd April 2023, and now online retailers have it listed as 10th April 2023. Anime Limited have not provided a reason for the delay, although the AllTheAnime Shop still does list a 3rd April 2023 release, and ironically the feature-length-film Blood-C: The Last Dark, which acts as a conclusion to the Blood-C TV series, was released earlier in the month.

Blood-C: Horrifying beasts with a hunger for human flesh prey on the citizens of a quiet town. In moonlit twilight, Saya slays the monsters and returns home drenched in blood. As the attacks increase in frequency and intensity, her enemies relay cryptic messages about a broken contract. Limbs are torn from flesh and skulls are crushed and devoured while the huntress struggles with paralyzing visions and gaping holes in her memory.  When the humans Saya promised to protect reveal the sickening truth about her role in the violence, she learns her mission isn’t as clear cut as she thought – and her most sadistic foe of all is so close she can taste it.
