Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba- To The Swordsmith Village- Cinematic Event Confirmed for UK Cinemas on 1st March 2023

Crunchyroll, in partnership with Aniplex, have today announced that the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba- To The Swordsmith Village- cinematic event, which sees Episodes 10 and 11 of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba- Entertainment District Arc- and an extended Episode 1 of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba- To The Swordsmith Village- in newly remastered 4K, will be available in participating cinemas across the UK on 1st March 2023 with tickets available to book online from 17th February 2023 through the new website.

This cinematic event was originally announced earlier in the year as a global event by Aniplex, with cinemas in Japan, America, France, Germany, Mexico, South Korea and Taiwan, confirmed to show this celebratory event of the anime series on the big screen. Sadly during this announcement the United Kingdom wasn’t listed, but as of today UK Demon Slayer fans will also be able to experience this event on 1st March 2023.

Synopsis
After his family is viciously murdered, a kind-hearted boy named Tanjiro Kamado resolves to become a Demon Slayer in hopes of turning his younger sister Nezuko back into a human.
 
Together with his comrades, Zenitsu and Inosuke, along with one of the top-ranking members of the Demon Slayer Corps, Tengen Uzui, Tanjiro embarks on a mission within the Entertainment District, where they encounter the formidable, high-ranking demons, Daki and Gyutaro.

It is expected that this cinematic event will only be available in Japanese with English Subtitles, but we’ll know more once the listings become available on 17th February 2023. In the meantime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba is available to stream on Crunchyroll, with some episodes available to stream on Netflix within the UK in both English and Japanese, while this Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba- To The Swordsmith Village- event will be in UK cinemas from 1st March 2023. Tickets for this event will be available through the new website.
