Anime Limited Christmas Showcase 2022 Unveils Collector’s Editions Ascendance of a Bookworm, Evangelion, Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water and Tower of God

Ahead of the annual 12 Days of Christmas campaign, of which sees Anime Limited heavily discount old stock and offer up new releases as early bird pre-orders on their own store, the distributor have today revealed what fans can expect during this promotion from a pre-order perspective.

The major surprise is the confirmation that Anime Limited will be releasing Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water on 4K Blu-Ray, with a Blu-Ray release also planned. The series was preivously released in the United Kingdom by Animatsu, but quickly went out of print, and is a welcome addition to the Anime Limited catalog. Other surprise announcements include a Collector’s Edition re-release of Neon Genesis Evangelion (of which was originally exclusive to Zavvi), a new re-release of Cyber City Odeo 808 using the new High Definition masters and confirmation of Ascendance of a Bookworm, a title which had previously been announced for a UK release but has been quiet ever since.     • Ultimate Edition Blu-Ray with 200-page art book

Vinyl:

  • Attack on Titan – Season 3 Soundtrack Collection

All of the above will be made available to pre-order during the 12 Days of Christmas sale on the Anime Limited store and, as with previous years, it is expected that each title will be made available for pre-order on each of the days. In addition to the above the distributor also confirmed that the mystery bundles will be returning and that the promotions will start on 1st December 2022 and end on 12th December 2022.
