Shoot-em-up Drainus to Receive Physical Nintendo Switch Release in 2023

Strictly Limited Games, in partnership with developers Ladybug, WSS Playground and PLAYISM, have announced that the arcade styled shoot-em-up Darinus will receive a physical and digital release for the Nintendo Switch next year.

Darinus was originally developed and released by Team Ladybug onto Windows PC, but thanks for a partnership with WSS Playground and PLAYISM, as well as publishers Strictly Limited Games, a Nintendo Switch version is being produced for release in 2023. Darinus is said to bring classic shoot-em-up gameplay with an updated twist whereby the ship can be evolved depending on the players wishes.

A standard physical and digital edition will be made available alongside a special Collector’s Edition, of which will be exclusive to the Strictly Limited Games store. This Collector’s Edition will contain a copy of the game along with a variety of physical content, including soundtrack CD, Poster, Pin and Artbook. The physical editions are currently available to pre-order on the Strictly Limited Games store with a 2023 release currently planned.
