The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure Release Date Confirmed and Ys IX: Monstrum Nox Announced for PlayStation 5

NIS America have today announced that The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure, the second entry in the Crossbell arc within The Legend of Heroes franchise, will be released on 17th March 2023 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC. Additionally the publisher also confirmed that Ys IX: Monstrum Nox, which is another RPG franchise by Nihon Falcom, will be released on the PlayStation 5 in 2023.

About: The story of aspiring hero Lloyd Bannings continues in Trails to Azure! A temporary peace has settled over Crossbell and the Special Support Section now find themselves with newfound fame and status. However, the peace is soon broken with the rise of multiple organizations with ulterior motives!
Framing these growing tensions is the increasing pressure from the Erebonian Empire and the Republic of Calvard. Does the SSS have what it takes to stand against these looming fates? What lies in store for the state of Crossbell?

The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure will be available on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on 17th March 2023 within Europe and on Windows PC from 14th March 2022.

Ys IX: Monstrum Nox:
About: The city of Balduq hides more than just a few secrets. Dive into the shadowy world of Ys IX: Monstrum Nox and unravel the mysteries in order to escape! What dark truths lie in wait for Adol and his companions?

Unlike past releases this PlayStation 5 edition of Ys IX: Monstrum Nox will include previously released downloadable content as part of the base game. A Limited Edition version of the game will be available to purchase from the NIS America Online Store with a standard physical edition available from retailers. A release date has not yet been set, but it is expected to be released during early 2023.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure is available to pre-order physically, both standard and limited edition, for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch while Ys IX: Monstrum Nox pre-orders will appear in the near future.
