Dragon Ball Z Kakarot PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S Versions and Season Pass 2 Confirmed

As part of Tokyo Game Show events Bandai Namco Entertainment confirmed that Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, the RPG-Fighting Game that retells the events of the Dragon Ball Z storyline, will be making its PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S debut in 2023 with previous PS4 & Xbox One owners being able to upgrade to the newer version.

The confirmation of a next-gen version also joins the news that Dragon Ball Z Kakarot will receive a second season pass, of which will contain three additional gameplay elements; the first of which retells the events of Bardock: The Father of Goku storyline.

In other Dragon Ball related news Bandai Namco Entertainment also confirmed that DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS will include Buu variations as a villain that players must avoid and that The Farmer will be playable survivor. A new open beta test is also planned on all platforms from 22nd September to 26th September 2022 with details available on the Bandai Namco Website.

In addition, DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS will have linkage feature with DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2, where rewards will be given in DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 based on specific play achievements in DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS. An update will be implemented after the release of DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS, where players can also earn in-game rewards based on their play achievements in DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2.
