Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA set for November 2022 Release on PlayStation 5

NIS America have announced that the PlayStation 5 version of Nihon Falcom’s action-adventure RPG Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA will launch on 18th November 2022 within Europe, and 15th November 2022 in North America.

Originally released for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, before reciving ports on Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, this PlayStation 5 version further refines the game with updated visuals and performance and brings a much beloved game to modern day platforms. To celebrate the release date being announced NIS America have released a new trailer that focuses on the story of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA and gives newcomers an idea on what to expect from the overall game.

About: When Adol awakens shipwrecked and stranded on a cursed island, he and the other shipwrecked passengers form a village in order to survive and seek a way off the isle. Amidst this, Adol begins to dream of a mysterious blue-haired maiden… Who is she and what secrets does she hold?

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA will be available physically and digitally for the PlayStation 5 on 18th November 2022 within Europe, and 15th November 2022 in North America.
