Blood-C Ultimate Edition and El Hazard: The Alternative World Collector’s Edition Blu-Rays Receive New Release Dates

Anime Limited have recently taken to social media to confirm that both the Ultimate Edition of Blood-C and the Collector’s Edition of El-Hazard: The Alternative World have received new release dates, with both releasing in August.

The Ultimate Edition of Blood-C, which combines Blood-C and the feature length sequel film Blood-C The Last Dark into a single collection with physical content, was announced in 2020 and was expected to release early 2022 but will now be released on 29th August 2022.

The Collector’s Edition of El-Hazard: The Alternative World, which sees the entire series in Anime Limited’s traditional Collector’s Edition format, was previously expected to release in September 2022 but is now scheduled for a 4th August 2022 release.

The reason for the release date change, as shown in the quoted twitter post above, is due to a delay in production of physical content being used in the Collector’s Edition. Regardless, at the moment fans can expect these two titles to be released in August this year.
