Cardcaptor Sakura – Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray Release Date Update, and it’s Good News!

The wait for the UK Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray release of Cardcaptor Sakura will soon be over, as Anime Limited (otherwise known as All The Anime) have confirmed that the set will be released this month (July 2022), as the set has been quality checked and manufactured; but there is a catch.

Previously due for release on 4th July 2022 the Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray set has now been pushed back to the 25th July 2022 due to a delayed delivery of stock from the production house. However, this new release date only applies to pre-orders made on AllTheAnime Store. Those who have pre-ordered the set from another retailer, such as Amazon UK or Anime-on-line, will have to wait until 8th August 2022. The reason for this second release date is to ensure that stock arrives at the respective retailers warehouse in time for the planned date.

We’re contacting you to make you aware that the release date of this item has moved to 25th July 2022.

Let’s start with the exciting news – the manufacture of this product is now complete, with all physical components printed and discs fully checked, authored and replicated.

However, the bad news is that we’ve been struck by an unexpected transit delay of this stock into the UK which is outside of our control, and as a result we’ve needed to shift the release date to accommodate the new expected delivery date of stock to our warehouse.

For retailers outside of our own AllTheAnime.com store, we’ll be updating the release date to August 8th to allow sufficient time for stock to be processed by other retailer facilities, but we remain confident that our stock will arrive in time for the updated 25th July date set for your order.

So what exactly does this mean? It means that those who ordered directly from AllTheAnime Store will receive the set on (or around) the 25th July 2022, while those who pre-ordered it elsewhere will receive it on (or around) the 8th August 2022.
