Pompo the Cinephile marks the start of “Cine Matsuri” – A festival of Anime films for UK Cinemas

Anime Limited have announced that the UK cinematic debut of Pompo the Cinephile, which will be available in selected UK cinemas from 29th June 2022, also marks the start of Cine Matsuri; a festival of new anime films that will be showing a selected cinemas across Summer and Autumn.

Unfortunately Cine Matsuri isn’t like your typical film festival, where lots of films are shown across a week-long event, but instead is a name being used by Anime Limited for bringing a wide-variety of films, and genres, to UK cinemas in a short space of time.

The schedule for Cine Matsuri is as follows:

• Pompo the Cinephile (29th June 2022)
• The Deer King (27th July 2022)
• INU-OH (TBC 2022)

We expect that Anime Limited will confirm additional details through specialized websites, such as those for Pompo the Cinephile and The Deer King, but at the very least Anime Limited are being a wide selection of anime films to UK cinemas this summer.
