Future Boy Conan – Part 1 4K Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray Quietly Delayed to June 2022

Those hoping to receive the first half of Anime Limited’s 4K Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray release of Hayao Miyazaki’s classic TV anime series Future Boy Conan will be disappointed to learn that the set has seemingly been delayed until June 2022.

Updated listings on the Anime Limited store, and on Anime-On-line, have revealed that the set will now be released on the 6th June 2022, or 20th June 2022, depending on which retail listing you choose to believe. As far as we can tell Anime Limited have not yet officially confirmed the delay, but the set was due to be released today (23rd May 2022) and we’ve not seen

Given that it is only a small delay, unlike the recent Cardcaptor Sakura announcement, then it could be a stock delivery issue rather than production issue. Regardless, the expected release window for Future Boy Conan – Part 1 now seems to be June 2022 with an exact date to be confirmed.
