AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES – nirvanA Initiative Delayed until July within Europe

Those looking forward to AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES – nirvanA Initiative, the sequel to AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES, within the UK and Europe will be disappointed to learn that the game has been delayed until 8th July 2022.

According to Spike Chunsoft, via European distributor Numskull Games, the delay is due to unforeseen manufacturing delays and global shipping slowdowns. Bizarrely the delay also applies to the digital edition of the game which, theoretically, could still be released on the planned launch date – something which SEGA did for Sonic Colours when the physical edition was delayed.

Due to unforeseen manufacturing delays and global shipping slowdowns, Spike Chunsoft, Inc. and Numskull Games unfortunately must delay the European and Oceania release of this title across all platforms (Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®4 and Xbox One). To maintain parity, the digital releases for these regions will be delayed to July 8th as well.

In short; AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES – nirvanA Initiative will launch physically and digitally on 8th July 2022 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One within Europe while the North American version will released as planned on 24th June 2022. It is expected that the Windows PC version of the game will remain still be released on 24th June 2022.
