Visual Novel “Senren*Banka” To Launch on Nintendo Switch in May

NekoNyanSoft have taken to social media to announce that the all-ages version of Yuzusoft’s adult themed visual novel, Senren*Banka, will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch on 26th May 2022.

Senren*Banka, which launched to celebrate Yuzusoft’s 10 year anniversary, is a romance comedy styled visual novel with fan-service themes, in Japan and was soon re-released on Steam (as an all ages version) with English language support. Those interesting in playing a demo of Senren*Banka can do so with a free demon on Steam.

Details are still relatively unknown for this Nintendo Switch version, but a look on the Japanese Blog reveals that the game will be released digitally on 26th May 2022 for 3,995 Yen (around £28) with pre-orders starting from 12th May 2022. Additionally the game is expected to feature all of the same content as the all-ages version of the game on Steam. NekoNyanSoft also mentioned on social media that the product page on the Nintendo eShop should be viewable on Thursday (28th April 2022) when the Nintendo eShop updates.

Deep in the mountains lies Hoori, a small village so remote that no trains stop there. Due to its isolation, it has resisted the spread of civilization. However, its rustic charm and hot springs have transformed it into a famous tourist destination.

One of the village’s biggest draws is the divine blade Murasamemaru, stuck in a stone from which no one has been able to pull it out of… until our protagonist Arichi Masaomi manages to break it in half.

Before he can even come to grips with what just happened, he’s forced to make amends for what he’s done. How, you might ask? By marrying the village’s shrine maiden, of course!

He’s already in way over his head, but this is just the start of his mysterious and unfathomable new life in this village.

Masaomi then goes on to meet his new fiance, discovers an enigmatic and strange girl that only he can touch, and begins to learn about the curse afflicting the village of Hoori.

Amidst this hectic new life, who will he set his heart on? The answers he seeks lie within the legendary sword in his hands.

Senren*Banka is expected to be released for Nintendo Switch digitally worldwide on 26th May 2022.
