Disgaea 6 Complete Release Date Announced with FREE PlayStation 5 Upgrade for PlayStation 4 Owners

NIS America have announced that Disgaea 6 Complete, which is an enhanced and complete version of Disgaea 6 that originally launched onto the Nintendo Switch, will arrive on the 1st July 2022 (Europe) and 28th June 2022 (US) for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC. In addition, those who purchase the PlayStation 4 version will be able to upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version for FREE.

Those who purchase Disgaea 6 Complete on the PlayStation 4 digitally will receive access to both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions of the game, while those who purchase Disgaea 6 Complete physically for the PlayStation 4 will be able to download a PlayStation 5 version (and play it using their PlayStation 4 game disc) from the PlayStation Store at no additional cost. This is the same process that other publishers, such KOEI TECMO Europe with Atelier Ryza 2 and Bandai Namco with Tales of Arise, did and allows fans to have both versions should they wish to (and future proof their purchase if they have yet to own a PlayStation 5 console).

The release date announcement for Disgaea 6 also arrives with a brand new gameplay trailer, of which showcases new and familiar characters in action and gives newcomers a good idea of what to expect from the story and overall gameplay. In the meantime Disgaea 6 Complete will launch on 1st July 2022 (Europe) and 28th June 2022 (US) for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC. The standard Disgaea 6 is also available physically and digitally for the Nintendo Switch worldwide.
