Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna To Receive Limited Cinematic Release in UK in March

Anime Limited, otherwise known as AllTheAnime, have recently announced that they will release the feature-length-film Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna, which acts as a sequel to Digimon Adventure Tri and a conclusion to the Digimon Adventure timeline, in limited cinemas across the UK.

Exclusive to Showcase Cinemas in the UK, and presented in Japanese with English subtitles, the film will be shown on Wednesday 9th March 2022 for a one day only event and will allow fans to see the film on the big screen.

Tai is now a university student, living alone, working hard at school, and working every day, but with his future still undecided. Meanwhile, Matt and others continue to work on Digimon incidents and activities that help people with their partner Digimon. When an unprecedented phenomenon occurs, the DigiDestined discover that when they grow up, their relationship with their partner Digimon will come closer to an end.

It’s not yet known if Anime Limited plan to release the film on home video (Blu-Ray or DVD) in the UK, but it is available on Blu-Ray (and DVD) in the US by Shout Factory and in Australia by Madman Entertainment. For the time being at least those near a Showcase Cinema will be able to watch it in the cinema, with tickets now available to book online through the Showcase Cinema website.
