Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Taiko: The Drum Master To Arrive on Xbox One This Month

In the past few years Japanese developers have favoured the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch brands, but in recent months we have seen popular franchises make their Xbox debut; with titles such as Corpse Party, Rune Factory 4 Special and STORY OF SEASONS: Friends of Mineral Town making the jump to Microsoft’s console.

This month however it’s been revealed that Spike Chunsoft’s Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Bandai Namco Entertainment’s Taiko: The Drum Master will also be heading to the Xbox One platform this January, and better yet both will be released day one onto the Xbox Game Pass service. As a reminder the Xbox Game Pass service is a monthly subscription that allows users to access a range of games.

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc will be an Xbox release of the Anniversary Edition, of which saw improved visuals and refined gameplay compared to the original PS Vita release, and is now available to download. Taiko: The Drum Master on the other hand will be a new entry of the Taiko Drum game featuring a wide variety of songs from Japanese culture and will be available from 27th January 2022.

Both games will be available as part of the Xbox Game Pass service, or alternatively as a digital purchase on the Microsoft Store for Xbox.
