Inuyasha – Season 1 Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray Quietly Delayed until December 2021

Despite being listed for a 29th November 2021 release on the AllTheAnime Store, and in the November release blog, it seems the upcoming Collector’s Edition Blu-ray release of Inuyasha – Season 1 has been quietly delayed until December 2021.

The news of this delay comes from updated retailer listings on Anime-On-Line and Amazon UK, both of which list a 6th December 2021 release date, and HMV, who lists a 13th December 2021 release date. At the time of writing it’s not known what the official release date is, but Anime-On-Line and Amazon are usually accurate with release dates so for now we suspect a 6th December 2021 release. We do expect Anime Limited to provide an update on the release, especially if it is a sizable delay, but with the excitement of the Christmas Promotion taking place this week it is easy to be distracted.

As a reminder the Blu-Ray release of Inuyasha – Season 1 by Anime Limited features 27 episodes of the classic shonen styled series presented in High Definition in English & Japanese . The Collector’s Edition features a rigid art box, poster and booklet with the episodes spread across three discs. It’s expected that the disc contents will be the same as those released in the US by VIZ Media, and a trailer for the US edition can be found below.
