Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc Photo Frame AR Service Launches Worldwide

In celebration of the Danganronpa Anniversary Spike Chunsoft have developed, and released, an AR Service Application that allows fans to bring the characters of the Danganronpa franchise to the real world through AR technology.

By visting the official website through a compatible smartphone/tablet device users will be able to pick their favourite character and display them in the real world. Once the character appears photos can then be taken, of which will be automatically saved to the device.

Recommended Specs

  • iOS Devices: iPhone 6s and later, iPad (5th generation and later), iPad Pro (all models), iPad Mini (2019 and later), iPad Air (2019 and later), iOS 14 or later, Safari
  • Android Devices: Android device running ARCore1.9 and later, Google Chrome

Updating your OS and browser to the latest version is recommended to use this service.

How to Use the Service

  1. To access the service, click on the link above, then tap Start. 
  2. Choose one of 70 characters. Tap the icon in the lower-right to begin.
  3. Check the preview. Tap the icon in the lower-right to continue.
  4. Move your device until the camera mode is activated.
  5. Place the character in camera mode. Pinch and slide to adjust the size and placement of the character.

In the meantime Danganronpa Decadence is due to be released on the 3rd December 2021 for the Nintendo Switch.
