Ghost in the Shell 4K IMAX Cinema Screenings Available in the UK from 17th September 2021

Lionsgate have announced that the classic feature-length anime film Ghost in the Shell will receive 4K IMAX screenings within the UK (and US) starting from 17th September 2021.

This special cinematic event will be available from participating cinemas across the UK and the US, with Cineworld and ODEON offering the most amount of screening locations in the UK alongside VUE, and will be presented in Japanese with English subtitles. This screening of Ghost in the Shell will not only use the newer 4K assets, but it will only be shown in IMAX screens.

Ghost in the Shell was previously brought to cinemas, and home video, by Manga Entertainment and later this month, on the 27th September 2021, FUNimation UK will distribute the film on 4K Blu-Ray with a Limited Edition and Standard Edition available to pre-order on Amazon UK. In the United States Lionsgate previously released the film on 4K Blu-Ray.
