FUNimation Announces Hyouka Complete Series Blu-Ray and Limited Edition for November 2021 Release

As part of the November 2021 release line-up FUNimation (UK) have revealed that Koyo Animation’s animated series Hyouka, which is adapted from the Japanese mystery novel written by Honobu Yonezawa, will be re-released in the UK as a Complete Series Blu-Ray set and will even be treated to a Limited Edition.

Scheduled for release on the 22nd November 2021 Hyouka – Complete Series will released as a standard edition and limited edition set, with the Limited Edition being presented in a rigid art box with an art book and art cards. Hyouka was previously released on Blu-Ray (and DVD) via Anime Limited, with the original Blu-Ray release being treated to two half-season sets each of which in Collector’s Edition format.

From a presentation perspective then Anime Limited’s original release does look more appealing, but from a cost perspective than FUNimation’s Limited Edition may be a more viable option. Of course this sort of thing always tends to happen with re-releases from different publishers. Anyway, alongside the confirmation of Hyouka being re-released on Blu-Ray within the UK we also receive confirmed releases dates for Fire Force – Season 2 Part 2 and Black Clover – Season 3 Part 5.

November 2021 Schedule:

15th November 2021:

  • Fire Force – Season 2 Part 2 (Blu-Ray / DVD + Digital)

22nd November 2021:

November seems to be a quiet month from FUNimation, but it certainly does offer a bit of variety.
