Studio Ghibli’s Earwig and the Witch Set for September Release with Steelbook and Limited Edition Blu-Ray Releases

New retailer listings on Amazon UK have revealed that the Elysian Film Group will release Studio Ghibli’s feature-length CG film Earwig and the Witch on the 27th September 2021 within the UK with DVD, Standard Blu-Ray, Limited Edition Combo Pack and Steelbook Editions scheduled for release.

All four editions of the film will be presented in both English and Japanese (with English subtitles) with the extras including Feature-Length Storyboards, Creating Earwig And The Witch, Interviews With Japanese Voice Case, Japanese Trailer & TV Spot, and a UK Theatrical Trailer.

Synopsis: Growing up in an orphanage in the British countryside, Earwig has no idea that her mother had magical powers. Her life changes dramatically when a strange couple takes her in, and she is forced to live with a selfish witch. As the headstrong young girl sets out to uncover the secrets of her new guardians, she discovers a world of spells and potions, and a mysterious song that may be the key to finding the family she has always wanted.

All four editions of Earwig and the Witch are now available to pre-order on Amazon UK, with additional retailer listings expected shortly (if they are not already live). In the meantime Earwig and the Witch will be available on DVD and Blu-Ray from the 27th September 2021 within the UK.
