Anime Limited Unveils Neon Genesis Evangelion: Ultimate Edition

After a week of teasing, and many months of waiting, Anime Limited have unveiled what fans can expect from the Ultimate Edition of Neon Genesis Evangelion with initial pre-orders selling out within less than a day.

Unveiled on Friday 20th August 2021 through the special Evangelion website the Ultimate Edition has an early bird pre-order price of £199.99 with the standard RRP being £299.99 and a stock limitation of 1500 which has since been increased to 2500. Additional editions are also planned, but have yet to be revealed.

This Ultimate Edition, which unlike previous Ultimate Editions, seems to be shared between UK, US and Australia with each region offering the same packaging, contents and presentation with the only difference being the discs themselves. In the UK Ultimate Edition release fans can expect all 26 Episodes of the original TV Anime Series and the two feature-length-films on Blu-Ray with the new Netflix English Dub and Japanese audio in addition to the original ADV English Dub (minus Fly Me to the Moon ending song across all three audio tracks).

In addition to the episodic(and movie) content fans will receive an extensive selection of bonus materials as well as physical contents such as hard back art book, art boards, Sachiel Resin Paperweight and NERV ID Card w/ Lanyard.

Neon Genesis Evangelion Ultimate Edition is available to order for UK, US and Australian fans through the special Evangelion website and additional editions will be revealed on the 30th August 2021. The Ultimate Edition is still available to pre-order for UK customers, but the set did sell out within the US.
