Weathering With You To Receive Standard Edition 4K Blu-Ray Release in UK

A sponsored post on Facebook, which is designed to help promote the Summer Sale on Anime Limited’s Online Store, has revealed that Anime Limited will release a ‘standard edition’ 4K Blu-Ray release of Weathering With You in the UK in the near future.

Anime Limited have not yet officially announced the existence of a ‘standard edition’ release but as part of the Summer Sale event, which started yesterday on 2nd August 2021, Anime Limited will be revealing new titles in addition to offering discounts on older titles. The sponsored Facebook post meanwhile not only promotes the sale but also unveils Weathering With You on Standard 4K Blu-Ray with a promotional early bird price of £24.99, which seems a bit high considering the RRP for a 4K Blu-Ray is usually £24.99, and provides a link (currently not working) to the product on Anime Limited’s store.

Weathering with You was originally released as a Collector’s Edition 4K Blu-Ray (with Standard Blu-Ray) release and saw store exclusive editions sell-out within a matter of days. Shortly after a ‘variant’ of the Collector’s Edition was made accessible, but even this became limited in stock.

The Standard Edition 4K Blu-Ray is expected to be the same disc that was included with the Collector’s Edition but presented in a more traditional 4K case. We also expect that Anime Limited will officially announce this product, and make the store link live, later today.
