Idea Factory To Publish Cupid Parasite in the West

Idea Factory International will launch the otome visual novel Cupid Parasite physically and digitally onto the Nintendo Switch later this year.

Originally released in Japan last year Cupid Parasite, as described by Play-Asia, is a story about a cupid who ran away from her family after a fight to become the most successful bridal adviser in the human world. One day the heroine’s boss calls her up for a job to find 5 hopeless guys (aka parasites) in desperate need of fixing their love life (and prolly their personalities in some cases).

In addition to Cupid Parasite Idea Factory International have also announced plans to release additional otome and/or visual novel styled games in the future. This is indeed exciting news for Otome fans as some visual novel titles published by Idea Factory in Japan, such as Code:Realize and Collar X Malice, were localised and published by Aksys Games in the west with criticism to the quality of the English text.

That aside, English otome (and visual novel) fans will have Cupid Parasite to look forward to later this year along with other titles yet to be announced for the future.
