Violet Evergarden: The Movie UK Cinema Screenings Confirmed for 1st July 2021

Anime Limited, otherwise known as All The Anime, have today announced that the feature-length-film, and conclusion to the overall story, Violet Evergarden: The Movie, will receive cinematic screenings across the UK from 1st July 2021.

Tickets can be booked through the official Violet Evergarden: The Movie website with new screenings, and locations, being added on a daily basis. Similar to past screening events, such as Your Name and A Silent Voice, the film will receive limited screening locations, but the film is available to view at more cinema chains than the recent Lupin III: The First.

Violet Evergarden, a former child soldier turned “Auto Memory Doll” scribe, has made a name for herself writing letters that evoke the feelings her clients cannot, in pursuit of understanding the meaning behind the “I love you” spoken to her long ago. When a terminally ill boy asks her to fulfill one last request for his family, Violet must confront her own feelings of love, loss, and her past with the one who told her those cherished words in order to write one final letter.

Violet Evergarden is available on Blu-Ray via Anime Limited as well as on Netflix UK alongside another feature-length-film. This new feature length film meanwhile will be available in participating cinemas from 1st July 2021.
