Danganronpa Collection Announced as “Danganronpa Decadence” for Nintendo Switch

In celebration of Danganronpa’s tenth anniversary SPIKE CHUNSOFT have announced that all previous Danganronpa games, along with an expanded (but entirely new) mini-game, will be making their way to the Nintendo Switch as part of Danganronpa Decadence.

As announced during the Nintendo Direct Stream for E3 2021 the Danganronpa Decadence collection will consist of Nintendo Switch ports of Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Anniversary EditionDanganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition, and Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony Anniversary Edition, as well as the brand-new title Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp, a boardgame-style bonus game with all-new scenes and interactions between your favorite characters.

Danganronpa Decadence is, as one might expect, the ultimate Danganronpa collection and it will be released physically – as one entire collection – on the Nintendo Switch in the near future as well as digitally. More importantly each game will also be released individually through the Nintendo eShop. Pricing has not yet been mentioned but, in North America at least, a physical Collector’s Edition containing posters and an artbook is also planned.

  • In Danganronpa 1, 2, and V3, you and your classmates must participate in a killing game; the only way to survive is to correctly identify the killer during the Class Trial, and be the last one standing!
  • Each game comes with a gallery feature that allows you to view event illustrations, scenes, and listen to voiced dialogue!
  • Includes Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp, the 10th Anniversary title that’s an expanded version of the Ultimate Talent Development Plan bonus content from Danganronpa V3!

The Danganronpa titles were originally released onto the PlayStation Vita before being ported to the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC. In recent months ‘Anniversary Editions’ for iOS & Android devices have also been released with improved functionalities. This Nintendo Switch collection will be released physically and digitally onto the Nintendo Switch later this year. Further details can be found on the official Danganronpa website.
