Neptunia ReVerse Launches on PlayStation 5 with Neptunia Shooter DLC FREE for Limited Time

The latest, or should we say oldest, entry into the Neptunia franchise finds new life on the PlayStation 5, as today Neptunia ReVerse, which is an enhanced remake of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1, is now available physically and digitally within Europe. In addition Neptunia Shooter, which was an April Fool’s Joke turned into a mini-game on Steam, is also available to download as ‘FREE DLC’ for a Limited Time.
The Neptunia Shooter game, which sees notable characters from the Neptunia franchise in a ‘shoot em up’ environment was originally posed as an April Fool’s Joke a few years back, but when fans reacted positively to the idea of it being a real game Idea Factory complied and released it a year later on Steam for Windows PC. In Japan Neptunia Shooter was offered as a pre-order bonus for those buying the game.

To replicate this experience in Europe (and North America) Idea Factory International have opted to offer it as a FREE download form the PlayStation Store for a limited time. Those who download, and install, the content will be able to access Neptunia Shooter from the title screen. Even if you don’t own Neptunia ReVerse then it is worth downloading it from the PlayStation Store; as it won’t be available forever.
In the meantime Neptunia ReVerse, which features remastered visuals, improved performance and a new fishing mode, is now available for the PlayStation 5 across Europe and North America. Neptunia ReVerse retells the original story found within Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1, but refreshes it with a a new ‘arrange’ mode that allows notable characters from the entire franchise to be used. Those looking for the original experience can do so within Original mode.

Neptunia ReVerse is now available physically and digitally for the PlayStation 5 across Europe and North America. A Limited Edition variation of Neptunia ReVerse is also available from the respective Idea Factory Stores in each region.
