Samurai Warriors 5 Announced for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC

Originally unveiled as part of February 2021’s Nintendo Direct Stream publisher KOEI TECMO Europe have officially confirmed that Samurai Warriors 5, the latest entry in the 1 vs 100 musou styled game, will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC in 2021.

Other than gameplay shown during the Nintendo Direct Stream details on Samurai Warriors 5 are limited at best, but KOEI TECMO Europe have explained that Samurai Warriors 5 marks a fresh, re-imagining of the franchise, including an all-new storyline, as well as revamped character designs and a stylish new visual presentation. A new beginning to the SAMURAI WARRIORS experience, the title launches gamers into the Sengoku period, shining the in-game spotlight on characters Nobunaga Oda and Mitsuhide Akechi. Further information relating to Samurai Warriors 5 will be shared during a special livestream next week on 25th February 2021 with regular updates planned to be shared until the games launch in the summer.

In the meantime Samurai Warriors 5 is planned for a Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC release in 2021.
