Samurai Shodown To Launch 16th March 2021 on Xbox Series Platforms

SNK Playmore, in partnership with publishing and distribution partner Koch Media, have announced that the Xbox Series S | Xbox Series X version of Samurai Shodown will launch on the 16th March 2021 within Europe, with a physical version due via Koch Media in Europe and North America.

Not only will Samurai Shodown receive the Xbox Series S | Xbox Series X treatment, with its own physical release in Europe and North America, but current Xbox One owners will be able to upgrade to the ‘Xbox Series’ version of the game on compatible hardware at no extra charge as a result of Xbox Smart Delivery functionality. This means those who have the Xbox One version of the game, but have an Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X console, will receive the enhanced benefits including 120fps with improved visuals and loading times.

The Physical Xbox Series S | Xbox Series X version of Samurai Shodown will also include Season Pass 1, which includes 4 characters and a costume, thus giving newcomers or returning players an extra boost to already expansive range of characters.

Samurai Shodown will launch on the 16th March 2021 physically and digitally for the Xbox Series S | Xbox Series X platform and this ‘Xbox Series’ edition of the game will also be available to regular Xbox One owners of the game, on the same day, via Smart Delivery Functionality.
