Grisaia: Phantom Trigger Vol. 5.5 to Launch 21st January 2021 on Nintendo Switch

PROTOTYPE have today taken to social media to reveal that the next entry in the Grisaia: Phantom Trigger visual novel series, which is Volume 5.5, will be released digitally via the Nintendo eShop on the 21st January 2021 for the Nintendo Switch.

This visual novel will continue the adventures and storyline previously set out in the fifth volume of the series and will be playable with Japanese, English or Simplified Chinese text with audio in Japanese. It’s also worth noting that the game will be released globally on the same day in Japan, UK, Europe and North America.

Several years after Yuuji Kazami and his friends fought for their lives in a fierce battle, a new generation of heroines gather at Mihama Academy, which has been reinstated as a ‘specialist training school’. Taking place in the same world as The Fruit of Grisaia, new characters bring an exciting fresh take in Volume 5.5 of this brand new series!
This thrilling story, which unfolds at the reborn Mihama Academy, will undoubtedly excite not only those who have played previous releases, but those who are new to the series as well!

Further information on Grisaia: Phantom Trigger Vol. 5.5 can be found on the official website with the game due for a global digital release on the 21st January 2021. The previous volumes of Grisaia: Phantom Trigger are also available digitally via the Nintendo eShop and PROTOTYPE plan to release a physical version of Volume 1 – 5 in Japan later this year.
