Phantom Breaker Omnia Dev Diary and Gameplay Video Released

The arcade styled 2D fighter Phantom Breaker Omnia may be a few months away from release, but Rocket Panda Games are eager to share and show-off what fans can expect from this revamped 2013 classic as they have today released a new gameplay video and published a Dev Diary on the official website.

As explained by Rocket Panda Games producer Sakari “P,” is sharing the development process through Developer Diaries on the official website. In the first episode, he dives down into Phantom Breaker history and how the team is bringing the saga back in 2021. Prepare to sit down with a coffee, tea (or any kind of drink really) as it is an interesting and in-depth read. Alongside the dev diary the first gameplay video from the localised version of the game has been released, of which sees Waka and Sophia do battle amongst a school classom. (Side note: keep an eye out in the background for a cool Easter egg).

As demonstrated in this gameplay video Phantom Breaker will allow players to choose from 3 different fighting styles that can drastically change your characters’ speed, power and mechanics.

Phantom Breaker Omnia will be released onto the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox and Windows PC (via STEAM) in 2021.
