D3 Publisher to Release Abyss of the Sacrifice on Nintendo Switch Worldwide this December

A new Nintendo eShop listing has revealed that D3 Publisher plans to release the suspense adventure title Abyss of the Sacrifice onto the Nintendo Switch worldwide this December. A physical version will be released in Japan, of which will include English localisation, while outside of Japan it will be released digitally.

Scheduled for release worldwide on the 17th December 2020, with a listing price of £35.99 and a 20% pre-order discount on the Nintendo eShop, Abyss of the Sacrifice is an adventure styled visual novel experience that was previously released in 2010 for the PlayStation Portable. The game has never been released outside, but this Nintendo Switch version has been enhanced with better visuals and performance.

Set after the demise of a city deep underground, Misshitsu no Sacrifice tells the story of five young girls to attempt to escape and the friendships, enmity, and horror they experience along the way.

Players must solve a variety of puzzles to find out what the future holds for the young girls in this atmospheric tale of family, friendship, and betrayal that unfolds behind closed doors.

Abyss of the Sacrifice will be available physically and digitally for the Nintendo Switch in Japan as well as digitally worldwide on the Nintendo eShop, for the Nintendo Switch, on the 17th December 2020. The digital version has a listing price of £35.99 and is available with a 20% pre-order discount until launch. A Windows PC version of the game is also planned for release on the same day.
