UPPERS to Launch Globally on STEAM this October

XSEED Games, in partnership with Marvelous Europe Limited, have today announced that the third-person-brawler UPPERS will launch digitally on the 21st October 2020 for Windows PC via STEAM.

Developed by HONEY PARADE GAMES, and from the creators of the SENRAN KAGURA franchise, UPPERS is a third-person-brawler that sees rival gangs fight amongst themselves in a bid to prove their worth and gain the top spot within the island of Last Resort.

About:
Set on the otherwise deserted island of Last Resort, UPPERS puts players in control of up to 13 characters in perpetual combat against battle-hungry punks who freely stalk the island looking for trouble, accompanied by a squad of thrill-seeking girls determined to see their favorite fighter as the victor. Follow the multi-layered story of violence, betrayal, and redemption as these brawlers fight to be the strongest on Last Resort Island.

Each character is equipped with a unique fighting style and special combos, ranging from rugged street brawlers and wrestlers to trained martial artists. The more characters pummel their enemies, the more popular they will become with fans, earning power ups to help them stand victorious in street battles. The girls also issue challenges in return for reward bonuses, which can be used in the in-game shop and gym to dress up or improve characters.

UPPERS was originally released onto the PlayStation Vita, but this Windows PC (STEAM) release will feature improved 60 FPS and 1080p visuals alongside previously released downloadable content, including Daidoji from the SENRAN KAGURA franchise, bundled into the base game. UPPERS will also be playable in Japanese with text localisation in English, French, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese.

UPPERS will be priced at £24.99 / €29.99 (Standard) or £34.99 / €39.99 (Digital Deluxe) – which includes a digital soundtrack and art book – and will be available globally on the 21st October 2020 via STEAM for Windows PC.
