As 2020 continues to be a year we would rather forget, especially when it comes to the impact of COVID-19 on modern day life, the anime film festival Scotland Loves Anime continues on and recently the organisers have announced some special activities for an unusual year.
For starters Scotland Loves Anime 2020 will continue to receive it’s annual screenings at cinemas in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow but due to limited availability, and the impact of COVID-19, Anime Limited will be taking the festival online with Screen Anime.
This year fans able to watch the films in cinema will be able to do so, while everyone else will be able to watch a curation of films available on the Screen Anime service during the same month. The caveat is that the films being shown in cinema will be different to those streamed online.
