Violet Evergarden Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray Announced for November Release

Anime Limited, otherwise known as All The Anime, have today lifted the lid on what fans can expect from the Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray release of Violet Evergarden, a Kyoto Animation project that is also available to stream on Netflix.

Scheduled for release on the 30th November 2020, with pre-orders starting from the 2nd October 2020, this Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray release of Violet Evergarden will contain the complete 13 episode anime series, and the extended version of Episode 13 and a 14th OVA episode, as well as the four compilation films across four Blu-Ray Discs. The original TV anime will be presented in English and Japanese (with English subtitles) while the bonus episodes and compilation films will be presented in Japanese (with English subtitles). These Blu-Ray discs will come packaged inside standard amaray cases that side into a rigid art box, much like the Gundam art boxes, alongside a 156-page artbook, art cards and stamp book collections.

In addition to the release of the TV Series collection Anime Limited have also clarified release plans for the length film Violet Evergarden: Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll and have teased that more details will be revealed in the future with a planned Q1 2021 release for the film. In the meantime Violet Evergarden Complete Series Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray is due for release on the 30th November 2020 within the UK with a 2nd October 2020 pre-order start date from AllTheAnime Shop and potentially some online retailers.
