Root Film Limited Edition and Release Window Announced for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4

PQube Games have recently announced that the visual novel game Root Film will launch physically and digitally for the Nintendo Swtch and PlayStation 4 during Q1 2021 with a Limited Edition being made available exclusively through the Funstock (Rice Digital) website.

The Limited Edition of Root FIlm, much like Root Letter Limited Edition, will contain an art book featuring illustrations and artwork from the game as well as a copy of the game on the respective platform. This Limited Edition will be available for both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 platforms, with the listing price set at £49.99, and is now available to pre-order from the Funstock (Rice Digital) website

About: Set in the Shimane prefecture, Root Film is based around the reboot of a mysteriously cancelled TV series “Shimane Mystery Drama Project”. Take the role of 23-year-old Rintaro Yagumo as his excitement for an amazing casting opportunity is quickly curbed, when a horrible murder interrupts their location scouting process.

Follow him and a cast of memorable characters illustrated by character designer Taro Minaboshi as they are drawn deeper into the thrilling mystery of Root Film.
Root Film will be available both physically and digitally for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 during Q1 2021 with further release details to be announced at a later date.
