A Lull in the Sea, Samurai Champloo, Terror in Resonance, Toradora, Tokyo Ghoul, Transformers: War for Cybertron and Trigun Availble on Netflix UK

This weekend brought many new additions to Netflix UK’s ever-expanding catalogue of video-on-demand content and in the case of anime-related content Netflix subscribers saw A Lull in the Sea, Toradora, Tokyo Goul: re and Transformers: War for Cybertron SIEGE, added to the platform as well as fan favourites such as Samurai Champloo, Terror in Resonance and Trigun made available for streaming again.

A Lull in the Sea: In a world where humans are divided between the land and the sea, four childhood friends from the ocean must attend middle school on the surface.

Samurai Champloo: After a waitress saves two warriors from execution, she demands that they accompany her on a journey to find “a samurai who smells of sunflowers.

Terror in Resonance: When a terrorist attack ravages Tokyo, a mysterious clue to the perpetrators’ identity confounds the police, and paranoia spreads like wildfire.

Toradora: Menacing in appearance but gentle at heart, Ryūji forms an unlikely friendship with Taiga, a tiny girl with a sharp tongue and a tough attitude.

Tokyo Ghoul: Tokyo is haunted by ghouls who resemble humans but feast on their flesh. As a ghoul-human hybrid, Ken Kaneki finds himself caught between two worlds.

Transformers: War for Cybertron SIEGE: As the Autobots and Decepticons ravage their planet in a brutal civil war, two iconic leaders emerge in the Transformers universe’s origin story.

Trigun: An outlaw named Vash the Stampede, who has a massive price on his head, wanders from town to town on a deserted planet that resembles the Wild West.

A lull in the Sea, Samurai Champloo, Toradora and Trigun have previously been released on DVD, and where available Blu-Ray, in the UK via MVM Entertainment whereas Terror in Resonance and Tokyo Ghoul were released on DVD and Blu-Ray in the UK via Anime Limited. Transformers: War for Cybertron SIEGE on the other hand is a brand new Netflix Original Anime series that, as you can probably tell, is making its debut on Netflix worldwide.
